In 1999, when much of India was only beginning to experience the internet, he enrolled in Arena Animation to study Digital Media, Animations, and Web Architecture. This early decision planted the seeds for a career that would bridge creativity, technology, and impact.
His hunger for knowledge never waned. Two decades later, with rich industry experience behind him, he returned to learning—completing Digital Communication & Branding from IIT Delhi (2021) and earning a Global Certificate in Data Science and AI from Accredian (2022). Upendra entered the professional world in 2001 with Srijan Webmatics Pvt. Ltd., stepping into the role of Interactive Web Applications Designer/Developer at a time when “interactive” itself was a novelty in India’s online space. By 2003, at Koenig Solutions Pvt. Ltd., he moved into the role of Frontend Web Applications Designer / Games Developer, merging aesthetics with engagement. This was where he sharpened the skill of storytelling through design—a skill that would later define his work both in business and governance.

In 2004, Upendra took a bold entrepreneurial leap, founding US Creations Web Services.
